Kerry Tully is a devoted End-of-Life Doula and Funeral Celebrant based in Brisbane, Australia. Through her extensive experience supporting families whilst navigating the farewell journey of their loved ones, she has witnessed firsthand the challenges that arise when final wishes remain unspoken.

Her calling to this meaningful work began in 2001 with the passing of her grandfather. It was during this profound experience that she recognised the most precious gift she could offer her grandmother was to support her through his farewell celebrations. This deep-seated sense of purpose continued through her father's funeral in 2010 and, subsequently, her grandmother’s in 2013.

Having grown up on a dairy farm in Mt Larcom, Queensland, Australia surrounded by her cherished parents, siblings and extended family, Kerry learned the values of hard work, resilience, and compassion for all living things. From an early age, she developed a deep understanding of the cycles of life and the importance of care and connection. Having experienced the profound loss of her son, father, and other family members, Kerry brings a heartfelt perspective to supporting others through life's most significant moments. Her natural inclination towards supporting others has been a constant throughout her life, and today, she considers it an honour to stand alongside families during life's most poignant moments.

As a daughter, sister, granddaughter, mother and now proud Nana, Kerry intimately understands the precious bonds of family and the significance of honouring a life well-lived. Through her work and writings, she advocates for open dialogue about end-of-life planning—ensuring that every person's farewell reflects their wishes and values.

Based in Brisbane, she provides End-of-Life services and weddings, funerals, and naming ceremonies, ensuring each milestone is honoured with warmth, professionalism, and authenticity.

Passionate about storytelling, Kerry believes that every ceremony should be as unique as the people it celebrates. Whether officiating a joyous wedding, welcoming a new life into the world, or guiding families through farewells, she takes the time to understand each client’s wishes and values. Her compassionate and thoughtful approach has made her a trusted choice for couples, families, and individuals across Queensland.

In addition to her celebrant work, Kerry is the founder of VITA Memorials, an innovative online platform designed to help individuals and families pre-plan their funeral arrangements. Through VITA Memorials, she empowers people to take control of their legacy, ensuring their final wishes are respected while easing the burden on loved ones. She is also deeply committed to supporting those facing life-limiting illnesses, being an End-of-Life Doula, providing guidance and reassurance through life’s most challenging moments.

Kerry’s work is defined by her ability to balance professionalism with genuine human connection. She values the power of words, the comfort of tradition, and the beauty of personal expression. Her mission is to create ceremonies that leave a lasting impact—whether through heartfelt vows, touching tributes, or carefully crafted moments of reflection.

Beyond her professional life, Kerry is a devoted family woman who loves spending time with her children and grandchildren. She enjoys cooking, gardening, craft, personal development, history, reading and helping people. A lifelong learner and natural storyteller, she finds inspiration in people’s lives and the stories they share.
